A driver was taken to hospital on Saturday afternoon after becoming trapped when a car overturned at the exit of the Polemidia roundabout in Limassol, on the road towards Ayia Fyla. Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of the single-vehicle crash, which occurred during the busy afternoon hours and immediately disrupted traffic in the area.
According to initial reports from the Cyprus Police, the vehicle overturned under circumstances that remain under investigation. Firefighters arrived promptly and worked to free the trapped driver from the wreckage before handing the patient over to paramedics. The driver was then transported by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where their condition was not disclosed.
